This week's art-- web caricature and pencil portrait

This week I was commissioned to do a digital caricature for a fellow blogger. You can see the drawing as she used it in her blog here: http://lindaslongview.wordpress.com/about-the-long-view/

I also completed a pencil portrait of the daughter of a regular client of mine. She gets an updated portrait each year of her daughters. What a wonderful way to record your child's growth!

  2. Thanks Steve! I love my cartoon for Linda's Long View. I am simply delighted that you accommodated all of my specifics -- perfect! I posted some links, I hope some of our fellow bloggers decide they need a Steve Campbell cartoon too. Good luck.

  3. Alison: This was done from photos. The client is from Louisiana, so it would be a long way to Ohio to do a sitting! Most of the portraits I do are from photos. Even if the person was local, I'd probably take some photos to use as reference since most people (especially kids) don't want to sit and pose.

The price is only $65 for a single pencil portrait.

Linda: thank you for the links back! I'm glad you're so happy and that I was able to be of service to you.
